Magic 8U Teams Finish Tournament in Head-to-Head Battle

Although the Zebra Classic Tournament was hosted by Branham Hills and held at Alta Vista Elementary, the final day of the event felt a lot like a home game for the Magic 8U teams.  The Magic players on this year's 8U squads battled to a closely contested 1-0 finish with the Teal roster out dueling the Black roster.  The game featured excellent pitching on both sides with the Black team throwing Savanna Smith and Sara Chiala.  The Teal roster featured Lauren Osborne and Olivia Fox in a combined shutout.  The 33 players participating in Magic 8U play this summer demonstrated the quality, depth, and vitality of the LGSGSA Magic tournament team program, developing top talent and creating a tremendous foundation for future Magic success!

Congratulations to the athletes that played so well all summer on our Magic teams!
